Resources for journalists, editors, and shopkeepers writing about The Vineyard Files.
The Vineyard Files is a small studio on Martha's Vineyard making cooperative mystery case files, written and assembled by hand. We welcome thoughtful coverage and are happy to send a review folder to writers and editors.
About the studio
The Vineyard Files began with a love of paper and the kind of mystery you sit down to with other people. Each case is a physical folder of original documents, police reports, witness statements, photographs, phone records, and the small inconsistencies that decide a case. There is no narrator and no host. Just the folder, and whoever you bring to the table.
Quick facts
- Studio based on Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts
- Cooperative play for 1 to 5 people

A mystery should be slow enough to argue about, and quiet enough to listen to.
